Winnetka Chamber of Commerce  Celebrates 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat Event

Winnetka, October 27, 2024 - Halloween came early to Winnetka, as families and friends gathered for the much-anticipated 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat event hosted by the Winnetka Chamber of Commerce. The event, held on Sunday, October 27, from 3pm to 6pm transformed the Winnetka Bowl parking lot into a festive Halloween extravaganza, filled with costumed children, decorated car trunks, and business community spirit.

The local businesses and residents came together to decorate their car trunks and booths with spooky, creative, and family-friendly themes, providing trick-or-treaters with a safe and fun way to celebrate. This year's Trunk or Treat featured over 30 participants, whose cars and booths were transformed into everything from pirate ships, self-portrait photo booths to pumpkin carving. Organizers reported an impressive turnout, with hundreds of families attending to participate in the Halloween festivities. In addition to candy distribution, the event included activities for all ages, such as dance performances by The Dance with Harout, pumpkin decorating, and costume contests.
